In 2010, two other painting in the series were created, still lacking any deep research on the subject. Where have all the Fathers gone? II arose from a dream and made the feeling of paternal abandonment all the more palpable. In the dream, a naked boy. led me through a city from which all adults were absent, leaving only naked children. The highlight of the dream was the figure of a huge, abandoned, rusty submarine, which in the dream I understood to be the remnant of the existence of these adults. They had vanished without ever instructing these kids on what to do with these adult tools. hey were left behind (both the kids and the tools), progressively deteriorating without a purpose.
The submarine was transferred onto the canvas using paint thinner transference. I was beginning to experiment with colored images and realized the paint thinner significantly altered the colors.
